Common questions
Why isn't SaySo a subscription?
Subscription dictation apps pay for servers that process every user's voice, so they have to charge rent. SaySo sends your audio straight to your own Deepgram account instead — no per-user server bill, nothing to charge monthly for. The full reasoning is on the pay-once page.
What if I get a new computer?
Deactivate SaySo in Settings on the old machine and the license slot frees up — two active devices at any time.
Is there anything else to pay, ever?
Not to us. Your only ongoing cost is your own API usage at the providers' published pay-as-you-go rates — about 5¢ per 10 minutes of dictation, billed only while the talk key is held. More detail in the FAQ.
