Hi — I'm Fahad. SaySo is my app.
SaySo doesn't come from a company. I build it, support it, and use it throughout my workday.

Why I built SaySo
I think out loud. Emails, ideas, notes to myself come out faster when I say them than when I type them, so I've used dictation apps for years. One thing kept bothering me: a monthly bill for work my own computer and my own cloud account can do for about 5¢ per 10 minutes.
I've built machine-learning systems for 15+ years, including voice systems — voice cloning, text-to-speech, speech pipelines. Subscription dictation apps bundle speech-processing costs into their monthly price: their servers sit between you and the speech engine. SaySo has no server in that path — your audio goes from your computer to your own Deepgram account, and Deepgram bills you directly. That is what makes a one-time app price practical.
I use SaySo throughout my workday, so I run into its rough edges first — and fix them.
A bit of background
By day I'm a Senior Manager, Data Science at Bain & Company; before that I did data-science work at Loblaw and TD Bank. SaySo is my own product, built on my own time.
What you can hold me to
- Your voice never touches my servers. There are no SaySo servers in the dictation path: audio streams from your computer to your own Deepgram account, and history stays on your device. How that works.
- The price is $19.99, once. If it's not for you, there's a 7-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.
- The site lists the downsides. No offline mode, a real two-minute key setup, Windows still in beta — written down before you buy.
- When you email [email protected], I read it and reply, usually within a business day.
That's who builds and supports SaySo. Every purchase includes a 7-day money-back guarantee.
