Get your keys

SaySo runs on accounts that you own. One is required: Deepgram, the “ears” that hear you. One is optional: Groq, the “brain” that tidies your words (you'll want it for the Clean and Formal styles, and it's needed for Roman Urdu/Hindi). Here's exactly what to click.

What will this cost me? Very little. Deepgram is dirt cheap — under about 50¢ for a whole hour of talking, you only pay while you're actually speaking, and a new account starts with free credit. Groq has a free tier subject to its published rate limits — heavier usage can reach them.

1 · Deepgram

REQUIRED · PAY-AS-YOU-GO
The “ears” — turns your voice into words
  1. Go to console.deepgram.com/signup and make an account (Google or email). New accounts start with free credit — no card needed to begin; after that you're billed only for what you use.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click API Keys.

  3. Click Create a New API Key. Name it SaySo, leave the settings as they are, and click Create Key.

  4. Copy the key right now — Deepgram shows it only once. It's a long line of letters and numbers.

  5. Open SaySo → Settings → Your keys → Deepgram → Add key, and paste it. Done.

  6. Cost: usually 30–45¢ for a whole hour of talking (depends on settings), and only while you actually speak.

OPTIONAL · FREE TIER
The “brain” — cleans up & polishes your words (Clean & Formal styles, Roman Urdu/Hindi)
  1. Go to console.groq.com and sign up — free, no card needed.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click API Keys.

  3. Click Create API Key, name it SaySo, and click Submit.

  4. Copy the key right now — it starts with gsk_ and is shown only once.

  5. Open SaySo → Settings → Your keys → AI key → Add key, and paste it. Done.

  6. Good to know: this key is optional — SaySo types your words without it. Groq's free tier is subject to its published rate limits; heavier usage can reach them.

That's it 🎉

One required key — plus one optional — pasted once. SaySo remembers them — hold your key and talk.
